QSAT E-commerce
A full-featured e-commerce storefront with a complete authentication pipeline — every piece you'd expect from a production shop, done properly.

The brief
More than a storefront — the whole stack.
QSAT needed more than a shop page. They needed a browsing experience their customers would trust, an auth pipeline that didn't leak sessions, and an admin panel their own team could run without engineering help.
We built shop.qsat.diy end-to-end — front-of-house and back-of-house — with security and mobile checkout as first-class concerns from the start.
Features
What's inside
Secure login & signup
Email-and-password auth with server-side validation and session persistence.
Password reset flow
Self-serve reset via email link — no support tickets for forgotten passwords.
Persistent cart
Cart items survive logout, device switches, and browser restarts.
Order tracking
Customers see live status of every order from their account page.
Admin dashboard
Catalog, orders, and customers — managed from one internal dashboard.
Checkout protection
Address validation, double-submit guards, and clear error surfacing.
Challenges
What we had to solve for
01
Security without friction
An auth system that's rigorous enough to keep accounts safe, but not so strict that legitimate customers get locked out.
02
Mobile checkout conversion
Most shoppers arrive on phones. Every extra tap between cart and confirmation is a drop in revenue.
03
Admin UX for non-engineers
The internal team had to manage the catalog, process orders, and handle customers — without calling a developer every time.
Our approach
How we got there
01
Session-based auth with sensible fallbacks
Secure sessions, clean error messages, and a reset flow that actually works — no mystery "something went wrong" pages.
02
One-screen mobile checkout
Everything a customer needs to confirm an order fits above the fold on a mid-range phone. No scroll-scroll-scroll to find the pay button.
03
Admin panel built for operators
Product editing, order status changes, customer lookup — each a two-click operation. The team self-serves 99% of daily work.

Results
What changed for the business
01
Customers checkout on mobile
The mobile-first flow means orders come in from phones without the usual drop-off mid-checkout.
02
Team runs the shop themselves
The admin panel is enough for the QSAT team to manage catalog, orders, and customers without engineering support.
03
Zero auth incidents since launch
The auth pipeline has held up with no security issues — accounts stay safe, resets just work, sessions behave.
Client testimonial
“The full stack — storefront, auth, checkout, admin panel — built and handed over cleanly. Our team runs the shop day-to-day without needing engineering. That's the part I didn't expect.”
